Splash Mountain Resort

Like most, if not, all resorts in Calamba, Splash Mountain features a variety of man-made pools with natural spring water sourced from nearby Mount Makiling. There used to be about 4 or 5. After expansion, there are now 19.

The resort comes with conference rooms, kiddie and adult slides, open cottages and shower areas, great food, clean hotel rooms and restaurants. The pools are clean and big enough and very enjoyable to swim because it is hot spring. You can stay all day at the pools.

What I love above all is the nature surrounding the pool areas. The place seems to have been built off a mountain on the road side, and the trees are still intact, preserved as if a mountain wedge is there.

The rates are very reasonable, too. Below a hundred per head,if I'm not mistaken, for day trippers, plus P400 or so for open cottages. For 19 pools, that ain't so bad :)

Laguna is definitely a must-visit because of the springs. Will most likely drop by this summer to cool off :)
